Le labyrinthe

The Labyrinth

In the manner of Kafka

Privacy protection is a dark and twisting maze,
Where every step can plunge us into the deepest darkness,
It offers us solitude, intimacy, freedom,
But it can also become a death trap, an endless nightmare.
Like a silent guardian, the shield of privacy,
Repel curious glances, merciless judgments,
But it can also isolate us, distance us from all contact,
And plunge us into a morbid solitude, with no way out.

So, privacy protection is a double-edged sword,
A sacred right, but also a heavy burden to bear,
It gives us the freedom to be ourselves, but also,
Forces us to face our inner demons, constantly.
Because without it, we would be defenseless beings,
Subject to the whims of society, morality, power,
But with her we are doomed to struggle,
Against our fears, our doubts, our deepest anxieties.

So, privacy protection is a challenge,
A permanent challenge, a never-ending quest,
Where every step can bring us closer or further away from ourselves,
In a complex labyrinth, where nothing is ever certain.
