La Hyène et la Gazelle

The Hyena and the Gazelle

In the manner of Jean de la Fontaine

In a vast and extensive savannah,
There lived a hungry and cunning hyena,
Who loved to observe the lost wildlife,
And dreamed of eating a golden gazelle.

One day she met a gazelle,
Who was hiding behind a bush,
And asked him, with a rebellious air,
Why she was running away for no reason.

The gazelle answered skillfully,
“I protect my privacy,
Predators like you, constantly,
To live in complete freedom.

The hyena, hungry, then asked,
“But why hide like this?
Why not live life to the fullest, without remorse,
And offer yourself to others without worry?

The gazelle, wise and determined,
Replied firmly,
“Privacy is a right, a golden path,
To live in harmony with one's destiny.

The hyena then understood,
The importance of privacy,
And decided to follow this golden path,
To live in peace, in complete freedom.

And since that day, the hyena and the gazelle,
Live in harmony, without judgment or scrutiny,
By protecting their privacy like a treasure,
To live their lives to the fullest, without any delay.

And when night falls on the savannah,
The hyena and the gazelle sleep in peace,
Protecting their privacy like a banner,
And thus live their lives full of success.
