In Frankreich ist eine Region eine durch Dezentralisierung entstandene Gebietsgemeinschaft mit Rechtspers\u00f6nlichkeit und Verwaltungsfreiheit sowie einer administrativen Aufteilung des Territoriums und dezentralen staatlichen Diensten.<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Regionen verf\u00fcgen als Gemeinschaften \u00fcber zwei Versammlungen, im Gegensatz zu anderen Gemeinschaften, die nur eine haben: eine beratende Versammlung, den Regionalrat, und eine beratende Versammlung, den regionalen Wirtschafts-, Sozial- und Umweltrat, der die \u201elebenden Kr\u00e4fte\u201c der Region vertritt. Der Pr\u00e4sident des Regionalrats bildet die Exekutive der Gemeinschaft.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
